Here’s a challenge for you.
Think of 10 questions that you would really be uncomfortable with me asking you.
And now ask them to yourself, answer them, and start doing something about it.
Questions, perhaps, like these:
- If you died next week would you be satisfied with your life? Or are you gambling on living long so that you can do great things when you retire?
- You may live another 50 years. Are you on the right path towards what you want to have done and been by then?
- Are you contributing to society as much as you should / would like to / could?
- Are you fit enough? A fit person in their 50’s could kick the ass of a lazy 20-something. Age isn’t an excuse. If you don’t have the time for exercise try saying to yourself ‘œI choose not to use time for exercise’
- are your constraints real?
- within the framework of your genuine constraints, are you doing all you can? or are you using them as excuses?
- Are you still learning?
- If the last week of your life had not happened, would you really notice? What about the last month? The last year?
