So I built a shed. I’mm quite proud of it. It’s been a ridiculously satisfying project – very good both for the soul and my productivity. It only ran massively over budget, so that’s alright.

I moved in and settled down to work.

And that’s when I realised that I had no idea how to turn what felt like working in an empty, cold, fully-clothed sterile pine sauna into the kind of evocative inspiration-generators that you see daily on Cabin Porn (a website suitable for work, except that it may just make you quit your job).

I know I should start filling my shed with little mementoes from my life, but I’mve spent my adult life deliberately not collecting clutter. Letters from the Queen, gifts from tribesmen – they all just go in the bin / charity shop. So I turned to the internet to try to find some ‘arty’ stuff to help my shed feel a little homely. I was delighted to discover all sorts of really talented folk operating at the overlap between adventure and art. I thought I’md share some of their work here as I’mm sure they would all appreciate a few more sales to help them save up for their next adventure / new bike…
