I have been asked to do the impossible. I have been asked to choose my favourite 6 books of all time. Clearly this is an unfair task! But I have set about it with enthusiasm, perusing the chaos of my bookshelves and the chaos of my blog for inspiration. Dotted amongst my 1314 blog posts are quite a few that relate to recommendations of good books.

This is exactly what I needed! I leave on monday to cycle 5000 miles across South America, reading shall be one of my few comforts! – though finding some of these classics in a bolivian library might be a challenge in itself!
P.s. Where are you books in these lists?! ‘Thunder and sunshine’ Is what inspired my expedition. If I ever make a list of my own, watch out for a top 5 recommendation!

Hey, I was just wondering (and I know this is going to be a very difficult question) but if you could only recommend one book which one would it be? I would love to go through the list and read loads of them, but as I am in University I cannot afford to buy them all and the library doesn’t have them. So which book would you recommend as my first read? I am particularly interested in the microadventures if that narrows it down haha.
