Imagine the day when you cannot ride a bike any more. When you cannot even leave the house without help. Cycling Without Age takes old people out for rides on this fabulous ebike. Last week Theresa took a 100-year old lady for a spin! Theresa needs some help though: someone with a van in Calderdale who can occasionally move the trike for her. And someone to help with admin, emails etc. ("probably someone's mum", suggested Theresa.) If you'd like to help in any way, please visit @cyclingwithoutagecalderdale or https://ift.tt/2Zuf24M @sustrans - please would you very in touch with Theresa with any advice? #yorkshire #blog #goniceplacesdogoodthings #neverstopexploring #cycling #ageuk #calderdale

From its source amongst the coffee and cardamon plantations in the cool hills of the Western Ghats, the river flows 500 miles across southern India towards the hot plains of Tamil Nadu and the Bay of Bengal.
The Marathon des Sables is known as “the toughest race on Earth”, running with all your food and kit for 150 miles through the Sahara desert.
I spent six weeks in the Canadian Arctic on an Ice Base on the frozen Arctic Ocean at 78 degrees north (at the spot often referred to in polar races as ‘The North Pole’, though in fact it was the 1996 location of the magnetic North Pole).

I was a keen cyclist and loved triathlons about 15 years ago I was attacked on duty as a police officer. My days of riding a bike and being able to go out alone ended over night. I was only age 34. Age doesn’t matter, it can happen to anyone. Love life and respect what you have in your life. It could all change in the blink of an eye.
