Saw something simliar on bicycletouringpro website – a bike towing a trailer with a kayak: I can’t remember whether the bike folded, but the trailer came apart and could be stowed in the canoe!
Having recently ridden the Selby to York (and back) cycle track, you could pedal to York, and paddle back (down the Ouse) to Selby!
