This week’s Nights of Adventure in Edinburgh and London were a great success. Thank you to everyone who came along, everyone who worked so hard to make it run smoothly, and a special thank you to the speakers who were all absolutely excellent.
Together we raised £15,000 in a week for Hope and Homes for Children.
Last night we launched an exciting, simple fundraising idea, designed to encourage people to try their own adventure this summer.
The Summer of Adventure campaign is fronted by Bear Grylls, a long-term supporter of Hope and Homes for Children, and supported by many of the excellent speakers we have had over the last eight Nights of Adventure.
This summer we are challenging you to raise £100 or more for Hope and Homes for Children by making this your most adventurous summer yet! Be it kayaking your local river, eating in every restaurant in your city, wild swimming in your lunch break, camping under the stars or taking a photograph of a stranger every day for a month, there’s an adventure just around the corner for all of us.
Raising £100 should not be prohibitive for many people. It’s a great little project for kids, families or individuals craving a bit of an excuse for an adventure…
The adventures can be whatever you choose. All you need to do is have an idea that excites you, and commit to doing it. Watch the short video below then learn more about how you can get involved here.
Go on, why not try this challenge this summer….?
