Hello again!
I’m Alastair Humphreys, adventurer, book writer, and overexcited sender of four newsletters. Nobody needs that many emails from me!
You’re reading Shouting from the Shed. Please check it’s the one that suits you best – or switch to a better fit:
I hope you’re making the most of these warm summer days. I’ve finished the first draft of my new book about trying to get more people to get out into nature, more often, and in more places – even the tiny pockets of nature on the outskirts of your town. Here are some things I’d like to share with you today:
CLIMATE: Here are the 14 Biggest Environmental Problems Of 2023 but also six clear, constructive, impactful, doable things we can all do to help the climate and nature this year. If you were in any doubt as to how difficult the actions our politicians need to take, urgently, then try this fabulous online climate game in which you are in charge of global decison making! The good news is that I saved the planet (you’re welcome). The bad news is that I had already destroyed the planet three times before I succeeded (sorry).
ADVENTURES: Tips for Older Hikers and Backpackers.
Thank you for reading.
