Well, spring has come, my mood soaring with the sun, and I’ve bought myself a new (old) Olympus film camera to play with (above).

I’ve been getting out and about, recreating some old adventure photos in rather less epic, but pleasantly sunny spots.

Before we begin today, I have a quick question for you:

•  The Tom Grass Spirit of Adventure Literary Prize is a writing prize for creative storytelling with a focus on the spirit of adventure.
•  Don’t Choose Extinction – an excellent, brief summary of the insanity of humans funding fossil fuels subsidies.
•  Hundreds of thousands of free trees to give away to schools and communities. I find planting a tree SO satisfying!
•  The last ice merchant: harvesting Ecuador’s glaciers.
