Outside it is freezing cold and the wind is howling. But it’s warm in my shed and I like the rattle of March rain on the roof. I’m doing the final proof-read on my next book for children (Great Adventurers 2), I’m trying to cut around 40,000 words () from my manuscript to A Single Map, and I’m trying to work out what is the most fun way to cycle through every one of the 400 grid squares on an Ordnance Survey map.
