Wild camping whilst cycling round Yorkshire is fun. But even more fun is kipping on my friends' lawn when they are out of town and have no idea I've broken into their garden for the night. This amused me greatly. Plus, they had grown delicious peas which I got stuck into. 😂 Thank you Rose and Rich! (Though you need to get that lawn mowed...) #yorkshire #blog #goniceplacesdogoodthings #neverstopexploring
A microadventure is an adventure that is short, simple, local, cheap – yet still fun, exciting, challenging, refreshing and rewarding.
I spent six weeks in the Canadian Arctic on an Ice Base on the frozen Arctic Ocean at 78 degrees north (at the spot often referred to in polar races as ‘The North Pole’, though in fact it was the 1996 location of the magnetic North Pole).
