This is now the 10th new-style newsletter I have sent out. I am curious to learn about is one asking whether you prefer my usual long, rambling newsletters, or one that gets to the point and just gives you a burst of good stuff straightaway, like this:

• An adventure film that, rightly, asks “How could you not want to do this?”: Travel to the Amazon, live with an indigenous community, learn how to build a dugout canoe, then take that canoe on a journey‘¦
• A journey to follow: genuinely epic in scope, articulate in its telling, Paul Salopek’s 21,000 mile journey in the footsteps of our human ancestors is a decade-long experiment in slow journalism. Moving at the beat of his footsteps, it is a reminder that, if we choose to slow down and observe carefully, we also can rediscover our world. Paul also has a monthly newsletter.
