I wish I spent more time outside and less time freelancing. I look at my invoicing software and realize I billed a fraction of the hours I spent staring at my computer. I could have been outside.
Here’s a question for you: those mattresses? I see you guys went with the UL approach in the Empty Quarter.
No…but we’re working on it ;) Completed the Pacific Crest Trail last year, now back to reality with a bang and on a quest for a simpler life…we know we can make it happen, just as we made the trail happen :)
Also No, but not for too long. Alastair, your superb talk at the Adventure Travel Film Festival UK last year has inspired us to take our first plunge into the life we have always imagined. Next month we will be on our way to discover hidden gems of Europe in our converted transit van. Perhaps this sounds a bit safe and way too comfortable after looking at your recent Empty Quarter pictures. Nevertheless, the fist step has been taken! No job, no flat no bills, we are free! EuroVanture here we come!
