London is an international city; one of the world’s vital hubs. So is it possible to travel round the world without even crossing the M25? This is a journey round the world foods of London. Eating in one restaurant from a nation representing each letter of the alphabet. An A to Z of world food. Georgia is one of my favourite countries so I was really looking forward to this evening. It did not disappoint.
A host of strangers read about the meal on Twitter and came to join us for food, music, wine, and excited talk about foreign adventures.

Love the change of scene at 1min26!
What is the music at the start its fantastci?
George
It’s a famous Georgian polyphonic choral tune. (I can’t remember the title). For each meal we ask the restaurateur for their music choice.

Seems like a really good night out – Tom seems very rosy cheeked and merry by the end.
I’m hoping to make your Qatar meal as I lived there for 18 years. Rubbish food though!
It certainly was a good night! My erratic focusing skills are testament to that, plus missing the last train home…
ps – Tom gets drunk at most of the meals.
not drunk as such, just enjoying the grape and grain from the countries in question. my lawyer will call shortly
This looks like the best one yet – I am really following this project -it’s a superb idea, al.
